A GIFT FOR
I'm too little to
paint a picture,
And too little to bake a cake.
I can't knit a blet or a collar,
And there's nothing that I can make.
I can't buy her a
box of candy,
'Cause I don't have money to pay,
But I must have a gift for Mother,
For this is her very own day.
So I think I'll
just tie this ribbon
All round me--you see--like this;
Then say, "Mother, dear, I love you,"
And give her a hug and a kiss.
